Born In Hamilton, Ontario, Karyn Kydd Spent Her Earlier Years Studying Languages, Culture And Singing In Hamilton, Paris France And Northern Norway. Married For Many Years, She Presently Lives With Sons Nathan And Kyle.
For The Past Few Years, Karyn Has Focused On Her Poetry, Songwriting And Photomontage Artwork, You Can See Her Artistic Talent From The Album Jacket Which Karyn Designed Herself. She Has Also Studied Singing For Many Years With A Well-known Singing School In Vancouver, Bc.
Karyn Is Strongly Influenced By Classical, Opera, Jazz And The Great Musicals Of The 30’s, 40’s And 50’s. She Is Moved By Such Performers As Piaf, Deitrich, Sinatra, Pavarotti, Tekanawa, Garland, Streisand, Fitzergerald And Diane Washington.
Her Creative Expression Reflects Her Own Transformation As She Expresses Herself From The Center Of Her Being. Within Her Play Is A Reflection Of Her Multi-dimensional Reality. Her Desire Is To Share The Total Experience Of Herself With Others. She Loves As She Lives And Lives, As She Loves.
